As the capital city of an affluent nation, Seoul is known to offer a wide array of hospitality options in different categories, and the newly opened BOOSTN café aims to tick all the boxes of the sprawling city’s fast-growing young demographic that’s not only appreciative of a modern lifestyle, but also increasingly of a healthy one. Occupying a 78 sqm. (840 sq.ft.) unit on the ground floor of a modern eight-storey office building in Gwanghwamun, an area of town dotted with historic landmarks, the café features an understated design by local design practice Blurker. The design codes are understated and partially inspired by BOOSTN‘s curvacious logo, and the latter is specifically reflected in the black and white colour scheme that forms a dynamic graphic backdrop of the setting.
Wooden panelling dipped in a bottle green hue was used as a finishing material to emphasise the brand’s link to nature, and obviously, its healthy food and beverage offerings. Furnishings are captured in fluorescent acrylic and stainless steel to accentuate BOOSTN‘s forward hospitality concept, and the seating plan easily accommodate both individual clients and small groups. As said, this place is all about healthy bites and drinks, and the menu bears witness to that, listing dishes such as grilled prawns with couscous, Caesar’s Salad, Greek yoghurt with fruits, various sandwiches, and a selection of fruits, all paired with coffees, teas, protein drinks and freshly made fruit juice mixes.
