De Beemster trolley-stand by Studiomfd, Netherlands

The design is color-themed. The milk pails and wheels based on an old-fashioned transport bicycle are painted Beemster blue. The covering tarpaulin is printed in the brand’s colors. It creates an oasis of atmosphere in the usually rather functional supermarket environment.

Conceived in two different sizes, the hanging modules also implement various printed patterns to complement the corrugated iron base colorway.

The Kenoa villa is eccentric, indeed a rustic luxury residence in harmony with nature’s seascape. The accommodation boasts its own heated infinity-edged plunge pool, a traditional Japanese ofuro tub made of fragrant hand-planed cedar wood, an outside deck in a private garden accented with beach grass.

All the shoe boxes are a part of the decoration and all the 150 models of ballerinas are exposed inside the store. And since the customer is sat in one of the Leopard print Pouffs she can see all the models and reach them easily, so it feels like she’s inside her own Closet. The perfect Closet for any women!

NG Kütahya Seramik – Unicera 2013 Exhibition Stand by SKM Projects+, Istanbul

Stand’s main design icon was the archway that lies on through stand area from begining to the end. Floors and ceilings of this arch was covered with NG Kutahya Seramik’s tiles, so everywhere was an exhbition area. All exterior columns surrounded by big transparent stars made up of Serge Ferrari textiles and led wall washers. These details reflected Kutahya’s ‘bright future’ expectation.

The goal of Loreak Mendian´s concept stores is to preserve each space´s personality, with a nod to its previous purposes or to the city where it is located. In Bilbao´s case, the city´s traditional beach culture is evoked in the place where boys´ and girls´ collections meet: the fitting rooms, which have been built in wood and emulate those early-20th Century beach boxes where people used to change clothes before going for a swim.

The individually graded colour spectrum on each floor is shown in diverse applications: Both, the guidance system and the furnishing concept, follow a functional colour scheme. Large-scale wall graphics support the selection of colour-subjects per floor. Special areas, like meeting points are designed in a different colour on each floor and are nicely distinguishable by the varying selection of furniture modules and textiles.

Standardized boxes of this kind are mostly ordered by hospitals and similar customers. Here, they meet with an entirely new task. Pipes used for the tripod are joined by massive cast aluminium fittings otherwise typically used for handrails in trams or buses.

Built in eight weeks, this 1,900-square-foot store respects the architectural details of the landmark building. With references to the brand’s motor racing legacy and England’s architectural and decorative history, the space is an oasis from glitz and glam, yet maintains an air of refinement.
