Studio X designed a buyer-facing showroom for premium kitchenware brand Lee Yuen Housewares at World Tech Centre, Hong Kong.

We converted a warehouse into an experiential showroom for Lee Yuen, a kitchen equipment product developer; designed to support product presentation, demo, and deal-making.

A sliding library ladder provides access to the full height of the perimeter display wall, and references the heritage of specialist trade showrooms.

The central island organises a broad range of kitchen tools and utensils for easy buyer access with compartmentally organised storage underneath.

Material choices and detailing were developed to provide a calm, neutral backdrop, allowing colour, texture, and product form to remain the primary focus throughout the space.

The completed Lee Yuen Housewares showroom, a 1,500 sqft buyer-facing environment in Hong Kong, converted from warehouse to premium retail space, designed to host formal international buyer presentations for clients including brands such as Williams Sonoma, Whittards of Chelsea, and Lakeland.

Every material and finish decision was made in service of the product range. Stone surfaces, perforated metal panels, and a restrained colour palette, ensuring that the product itself remains the focal point .

1,500 sq ft, completed 2021. DNA Paris Design Awards 2022, Winner.
